Sustainable Fashion in Berlin

Hello, how are you? 

Last week I attended a sustainable fashion event here in Berlin, organised by global platform and community Slow Fashion World & Bohetnika founder Mariel Jumpa & Lizeth Soto. It involved a series of presentations based around storytelling in ethical fashion. There was also a panel discussion – see if you can spot me in the photo above!

As well as meeting a whole host of incredibly inspirational people and hearing about all the wonderful ways they are changing fashion for the better, it also made me think: Are we living in a sustainable bubble?? Moreover, do people only relate to my story if they are already interested in sustainability? Generally speaking, it’s something I’m thinking about more and more.

Nike has installed plus-sized mannequins to showcase how their clothes look on bigger bodies however some journalists have a problem with it.
