Sustainable Fashion Links – Pre Pandemic

Coffee First Though, Right?

While perusing blog drafts earlier I came across the sustainability links below. I’m not sure I remember collating them, to be honest, in some ways pre-pandemic seems like only a few weeks ago and other times it seems like another lifetime. Looking back I’m sure I decided against sharing these because I didn’t want to link to news outlets when there was so much depressing and anxiety-inducing news being shared. And it seemed somewhat tone-deaf to be linking to fashion articles when there was so much craziness going on at all our doorsteps.

However, I’ve decided to share them now. I know many of us are reading the news again but obviously avoid the main news channels if you feel it is anxiety-inducing! The kimono article on Vogue mentions the exhibition of the same name at the V&A museum. Obviously the museum is closed until further notice, a sadness in itself. With no plans to visit London or Japan in the near future, back then at least, it was always an option.

On a brighter note, enjoy the rest of your weekend and here are your 11 sustainability links!

The caption read ‘In these times of uncertainty, many of us have been forced to slow down from our typical hectic days and schedules. As a result, we’ve been afforded the opportunity to cherish our time with our families, pick up a new hobby, read that book we’ve been meaning to read, or maybe even foster a pet.’
