5 Favourite Vintage Shops In Vienna, Austria

Viennese Charm, Vintage Style.

Vienna is a mix of stunning and charming, with a vast and extensive history. The people exude a cool and sophisticated style while still being laid back, so I was excited to check out the local vintage shops. Vienna has some great vintage; I wasn’t disappointed! And it’s such a beautiful city to walk around, that a day of vintage shopping is a real treat.

Vintage Shops In Vienna

First up is Uppers and Downers. A cool collection of vintage with a small curated selection of new too. I found the jacket pictured above. (It’s vintage Prada, and they sold it for 50 euro for reference.) They also had a tartan nightdress that I wish I’d bought. It reminded me of Carrie from Sex and the City and her various nightwear! I loved this shop and would head back if I was ever again in town. Burggasse 46, 1070 Wien

Burggasse 24 is an inspirational delight. It’s a lovely bright store over two floors with rails of colour coordinated clothes. I could easily spend an afternoon wandering around and trying everything on. The clothing is beautifully curated, with a men’s section and even a swimwear selection too. There is a cafe attached with outdoor seating that serves the best chai latte. Well worth a visit. Burggasse 24/8, 1070 Wien

Polklamott has a cool vibe to it; I felt relaxed as soon as I entered the shop. They have a good selection of secondhand and vintage pieces for both men and women, including sunglasses and a large selection of jeans. Mollardgasse 13, 1060, Wien.

Kleider Gehen Um. If you want to shop for unique but wearable vintage clothes in a charming shop than check out Kleider Gehen Um. They have a great selection of chic clothes at reasonable prices. Webgasse 4, 1060 Wien

FLO Vintage Nostalgic Fashion is a beautiful boutique with a selection of true vintage clothes and accessories. If you want the perfect unique vintage dress, then it’s the place to go. It’s not the place to get a cheap bargain. If I had an exceptional event, I would love to buy an outfit from Flo vintage. Unfortunately, in this case, I was browsing. The customer service could be better, to be honest, a man stood and stared down at me from a high step the entire time I was in the shop. While I’m sure he would have chatted if I had spoken, it did mean the time spent in the shop was somewhat awkward! Schleifmühlgasse 15A, 1040, Wien.
