and..quite frankly...who the heck will care? This blog will aim to cover the newest, weirdest, wackiest scientific findings from the life sciences - covering ecology, zoology, and general biological strangeness and controversy.
About me. I'm a post-doctoral (yes, please address me as Dr...! - as we all know, you have to be VERY intelligent to get a PhD..) researcher, currently working in the field of biodiversity and climate change (now - there's a controversial subject straight up!)...once a vegan animal rights activist, now an environmental 'eco-carnivore' who chows down on Australia's national emblem (no, not koalas...the other one), with an interest in cryptozoology, general ecology, conservation and all things Tom Robbins...
