Living Desert Reserve Sculpture Symposium
Native Plants in a Natural Environment - Living Desert Reserve, Broken Hill

The Living Desert Reserve is situated 9km NW of Broken Hill, NSW, Australia.

It is a 2400 hectare protected reserve in the Barrier Ranges, set up to protect the unique flora and fauna in the area.

There are walking trails in The Living Desert which feature the flora and fauna of the region.

One of these walks leads to the Sculpture Symposium.

The Sculpture Symposium consists of 12 large sandstone sculptures which stand impressive and proud on a hilltop. Sculptors from around the world were invited to take part in the symposium, which was completed in 1993.
