Murtoa - Lake Marna - Victoria - Australia

... and some places are a haven for birds... and a special place for travellers ...
Murtoa is a major town in the wheat district of western Victoria, Australia.
Lake Marna covers about 20 hectares and was an important water supply for the early settlers in the district.
The caravan park at Murtoa is situated beside Lake Marna. When I came out of the caravan the Lake was calm and the reflections perfect but by the time I grabbed my camera a slight breeze had come up.

It was such a beautiful morning we decided to walk around the Lake. It is an easy walk of about 2 kilometres.
Lake Marna supports an abundance of bird life.
***enjoy the special moments***
