It's time to get specific

Humans have a terrible tendency to look at the world's problems on a broad scale: the earth is warming, so the weather is changing; oil is running out, so petrol prices are going up.

Its hard to see specific solutions when we are looking at a broad problem. Finding a way to make a difference can be very daunting if you don't understand, or you can't relate to what's going on.

So what about the specifics? What effect is climate change having on people, land and animals around the world? What are governments, organisations, businesses and individuals actually doing about it? What does all the research actually say - in laymen's terms?

Each post in this blog aims to explore a difference cause, aspect or effect of climate change, and hopefully inspire everyone to make a difference. Stay tuned...
